Purpose
To be a catalyst in our community for creating a county-wide value of health. Our goal is to work on a macro community level that will allow for systemic change. We do this by implementing sustaining projects through community partnerships.
Our building blocks for success
When community health is described in terms of treatment, quality and access to medical care, the responsibility of citizens’ health rests solely upon the shoulders of the medical community. However, when community health is defined in terms of prevention, the responsibility shifts to the individual to take charge of their own health through cultivating an environment where that is possible.
